Come and celebrate with others in the same boat.


What is this Weird Weihnachten?

A chance for us to celebrate joyful moments of 2024 (yes you read correctly: joyful moments), share food and empathy!


Everyone brings a vegan dish to share.

We will have plates, utensils, cups. And a bar with drinks.


On offer are some nice prompts to foster and facilitate celebration, empathy and connection.

Then food and options for games, music, laughter and chilling.


Arrive between 5 and 6pm.

At 6pm sharp, we will begin.

Eating around 7.30pm.

Over by 10pm.


We will celebrate in the community run, FLINTA* friendly cultural space FINCAN in Neukölln, a short walk from Hermannstrase S + U Station.


When: 24th of December, arrival from 5pm, begin 6pm sharp, till approx 10pm.

Who: People with open minds and open hearts are welcome to join.

Where: FINCAN, Altenbraker Str 26, 12051 Berlin, a community run, FLINTA* friendly cultural space in Neukölln, a short walk from Hermannstrase S + U Station.


Your hosts are: Birgit Binder (aka Birgit Auf der Lauer) is an artist, mindfulness facilitator and works at cultural administration of Neukoelln municipality.

Dylan Lee Lowry is an artist, videographer, comedian, non violent communication practitioner/facilitator and tour guide (Walks in Berlin)

Walks in Berlin is a creative walking project offering history tours and Empathy Walks. History tours offered in English and beginner German, designed for A2 and B1 levels. Empathy Walks provides guidelines to give strangers the chance to practice empathic listening in pairs.
