In the winter months of 2022, while Tipsy Bear Berlin closed its doors for renovations, our community gathered outside our humble Prenzlauer Berg home for one extravagant drag show at the beloved Kreuzberg venue, SO36. That magical night of bringing together our artists, staff members, families, friends and guests to the iconic stage of SO36 has inspired us to make an annual tradition out of it.

This year we’re turning up the dial even further, with immersive and genre-bending trans and queer artistry taking over the stage, and our darling Disco Daddies taking over the tunes. We’re here to inject some healthy doses of queer radiance into this cold and dark Berlin winter.

As with all of our shows at SO36, this year’s show will be a reflection of all the trans and queer joy, beauty, creativity and togetherness that we have fostered alongside you all at Tipsy Bear. It will be a rebellion of the present, an insistence on what it means for us to continue to gather in times of rapid political polarization, social precarity, and climate disaster. It will be a spell cast into the future, a dream of trans and queer life continuing beyond binaries, beyond borders, building toward freedom.
Most importantly, it will be an extremely fun party. You know how we do.
