THE TEMPLE SERIES: Aphrodite
Are you a highly sensitive person who perceives the needs, wounds and pain of those around you as if they were your own?
Do you feel a sense of heaviness being alive on this earth?
Are wounded people particularly drawn to you for help, support, love and friendship? Yet at the same time do you often find that people don’t truly value you, try to take too much or leave you feeling drained?
Is it hard for you to say no, resist the urge to help or rescue others and honour yourself and your needs first?
Do you tolerate inappropriate and hurtful behavior in your relationships or remain stuck in toxic partnerships, even when you realise they are not good for you?
The Temple of Aphrodite is a reminder that your deep love and sensitivity are not weaknesses; they are forces of healing — for yourself and for the world. They are divine feminine essences that reside within each of us, regardless of sex or what gender you identify with. In patriarchal structures, virtues such as sensitivity, empathy and a deep capacity for love, have often been undervalued.
The Temple of Aphrodite is an invitiation to let go of the belief that something is wrong with you, that you don’t fit in or that your sensitivity is a weakness. It is an invitation to let go of feeling shame for who you are. It is an opportunity to celebrate yourself and your beauty and dare to believe that you are good enough, that you are enough and to choose to give to and honour yourself.
If you resonate with Aphrodite's energy, I invite you to enter the Temple of Aphrodite, the first in a series of Temples working with different archetypal energies.
