About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

The Climate Business Challenge is a playful yet powerful introduction to corporate sustainability transformation. It helps companies become pioneers of a planet-positive economy – with fun, energy, and teamwork.

Even as sustainability has receded from the political agenda, employees, owners, customers and suppliers know that the climate crisis isn't taking a break. It remains one of the greatest challenges of our time and is increasingly determining the future viability of companies.

Which companies will navigate these times resiliently, innovatively and practically – and which will fall behind?

Business success increasingly depends on not only understanding crises but also actively preparing for transformation. This is precisely what the Climate Business Challenge is all about: Together we discover where sustainability opens up real opportunities – for companies, markets, and people.

What can you expect?

🌍 Part 1 – Understanding the Big Picture

Using an example business, we will interactively delve into the incentive structures of our markets and economic system. We will understand how the climate crisis is an unintended but critical and systemic consequence of apparently rational economic decisions – and understand why sustainable business is not only necessary today, but also makes economic sense. No slide battle, no long lectures – learning by doing - with fun teamwork and at a good pace.

🚀 Part 2 – Driving Sustainability in Your Own Company/Sector

Now reality kicks in: In small teams, participants use a simple-and-powerful structure and process to generate ideas to leverage sustainable potential in their company.

You will look at how can the footprint be reduced, the handprint increased, and crisis resilience improved at the same time?

This results in immediately implementable project ideas that combine sustainable management with economic success.

Why participate?

✅ Over 80% of previous participants report that after the challenge, they have a much clearer idea of how they can drive sustainability in their organisation.

✅ Over 90% say: "I'm really excited to get started on projects now!" This is how participation and employee activation work!

Who is the format intended for?

🔹 Managers who want to future-proof their company/organisation

🔹 Sustainability managers who want to make a real difference beyond reporting requirements
