Seasonal Tea Times 2024 @ Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin

As much as tea culture is a source of grounding, the seasons of nature are a force of rhythm in our lives. Being inspired by the seasons, we look forward to co-creating 4 tea community gatherings this year at C*SPACE. We invite you to collaborate and ‘build’ these open teahouses together with us! From informal social tea hangouts to workshops and additional creative and artistic activities, we warmly call for your contributions! Would you like to host your Pop-Up Tea Room on these occasions, or bring your creative skills in any other format to the ‘teahouse stage’? Contact us! Join us!

Autumn Tea 秋露 happens on September 21st, as part of the Kultursommer Weißensee, we will be enjoying tea and celebrating moon festival together. While hanging out for some chilled hours over tea in the beautiful art-surrounded environment at C*SPACE, you are also invited to take an additional art walk in the neighbourhood. With the general entrance tickets, the following highlights will welcome you during the full day program:

🌱 Tea Social Hangouts on the 1st floor and yard. Bring your cup and join the tea hosts from local tea community and beyond. Line-up will be updated here regularly!

About

C*SPACE Berlin gGmbH is a purpose-driven creative space for co-working, workshops & events, dedicated to ideas and encounters across borders. Tea culture is a central element not only of the organisational culture at C*SPACE but also do teahouse events with various focuses - from tea as such to topical salon discussions or art and culture - regularly pop-up at this place throughout the year. In the summer of 2021, we launched the ‘Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin-project’ with initial support from the Berlin Senate in the framework of its activities to foster Berlin’s open cosmopolitan spirit, and it has been an ongoing program since then. In 2022, we were honoured to act as location partner for a smaller version of the BTF- Berlin Tea Festival. The Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin is a not-for-profit community & cultural project. The 2024 series is based on community-based economy and donations.
