SHOTGUN WILLIE AND THE TEXAS PICKERS

SHOTGUN WILLIE & THE TEXAS PICKERS are a Country/Americana band from Berlin. Founded by US songwriter William Whittenburg (Shotgun Willie) in the summer of 2016, they have been growing their fan base, repertoire, and stage show ever since. A typical set is based upon Willie’s original country and western songs, in the traditional style of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson. Scattered into the set are of course a generous helping of American country standards so everyone can sing and dance along.

The Texas Pickers are a diverse group of American, Australian and German musicians based in Berlin who are playing traditional instruments such as the banjo, fiddle, and pedal-steel guitar.
