Screening III

The collaborative project explores, tests, and disseminates methods of collaborative work in the development of content for a new generation of European filmmakers. This long-term initiative involves establishing a community where groups of filmmakers, especially in the fields of screenwriting and producing, utilize and reflect on various collaborative methods in individual workshops.

The research foundation and basis for the program draw inspiration not only from the US Writers' Room but also from experimental approaches such as ensemble work in performance theater, structures from design thinking, and agile teamworking methods. The goal is to build a catalog of methods that promotes efficiency and creativity at all stages of content development, aligning with the specific requirements of the European cultural space and the prevalent working methods, education, and self-perceptions of filmmakers in this context.
