Terry is a certified teacher with years of experience, she is my favorite pottery teacher in town! POTterry will teach you step by step how to get the best out of your clay, you will learn tricks that will make your piece perfect. You can trust me!
If you are curious about pottery, if you want to make your hands dirty, if you want to spend some time with new/old friends , if you are not yet sure to attend a class that last months, if you want to be part of a community of creatives in Munich.. this class is for you!
When?
- Shape your Mug/Vase on Sunday 13/10/2024 from 14:30 to ca. 18:30*
- Glaze your Mug/Vase on Sunday 27/10/2024 from 14:30 to ca. 18:30*
Why is the workshop split in two days? After "giving shape" to your piece, the clay is placed into a kiln at high temperatures. Only after, you will be able to decorate it with amazing glazes. And then it goes again into the kiln (protected my Kild Gods! Ask us what are they at the workshop ;) ) The piece will be ready for pick up after some weeks.
Until what time? *Please notice that the end time is only estimated, it highly depends on the spead of the group. Someone is simply faster and someone slower. You are free to leave as soon as you are done with your piece. We advice to not plan anything after so that you can enjoy it 100%
You cannot join the second date (glazing)? We will try to accomodate for you another glazing day. Please send your request on IG or via email
Location? At Terri´´´ lovely atelier! Please notice that the Atelier, is not in the city centrum(it might take some time with public transportation). We have adjusted the time so that more bus opportunities are available. Usually the participants organize carpool or share the cost of an Uber/Taxi. Upon request, I will share a Whatsapp group in which you can get in contact with other participants. Please DM diymunich on IG latest 1 week before the event.
