HIVE International Short Film Days #Edition4

HIVE is an international short film festival based in Berlin, celebrating its 4th edition from 11-13 October 2024!

HIVE is looking forward to hosting the 4th edition of HIVE at Flutgraben e.V.

HIVE amplifies underrepresented voices through a curated selection of diverse short films across six categories. The program includes performances, panels, workshops, and Q&As, fostering exchanges between cultural producers and audiences. By exploring social issues and diverse experiences, HIVE creates an inclusive environment that encourages community engagement and deepens cultural understanding across Berlin.

Our fourth year theme is “Reaction”. Reactions are triggered by the myriad influences we encounter daily—whether societal, cultural, personal, or environmental. Embracing our role as reactants in this ongoing interaction, we recognize that our responses—much like chemical reactions generating new substances—lead to the formation of transformative outcomes. Through dedicated selections, a panel and a workshop, this year’s theme will inspire a deeper understanding of how our reactions shape our narratives and influence the world around us.
