We are pleased to invite you to an insightful event hosted by Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHN), where Master’s students will present the results of their group work on the topic of “Generative AI Assisted Software Development.

This event is hosted by Prof. Dr. Mahsa Fischer, Research Professor in Human-Centered Software Development and Human-AI Interaction, and offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments and challenges in leveraging generative AI tools in software design and development.

The students have conducted in-depth interviews with industry professionals to analyze the current status of generative AI usage, practical experiences, and challenges in the field. Their presentations, delivered in English, will share these findings and provide valuable insights for professionals from industry, academia, and other fields.

We are especially proud to announce that this study marks the beginning of a collaborative research initiative between the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Campus Heilbronn, led by Prof. Dr. Chunyang Chen, Professor of Software Engineering & AI, and Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, led by Prof. Dr. Mahsa Fischer.
