About this event

Join your peers in Davos during the opening night of the World Economic Forum 2024 to celebrate the remarkable work and achievements of leading European Chief Sustainability Officers and connect with likeminded change makers.

We are hosting a special gala awards night for the exclusivly invited Top 100 Chief Sustainability Officers of the Futur/io CSO Awards /24 and the 20 Nominees. The three winning CSOs are announced on the night of the awards – plus a peer award selected by the Top 100 CSOs.

The Futur/io CSO Awards /24 is an initiative from the Futur/io Institute, aimed at celebrating and honouring the efforts of CSOs from major European corporations, who are accelerating the transition of business towards more sustainable models, in line with planetary boundaries.

The Gala Night will be celebrated atop the Magic Mountains of Davos, in the emblematic Berghotel Schatzalp - an architectural gem with an history spanning over 100 years.

The event is reserved exclusively for CSOs and leaders in sustainability, media and partners.

Frequently asked questions

Can you recommend any hotels in the area?

Most hotels in the area are already fully booked and it will be hard to find room anywhere close to Davos. We recommend staying in nearby cities such as Klosters, Landquart or in the Vaduz area. Chur and Arosa are too far on the other side of the mountain. Even if they may be already fully booked,

What is the closest airport?

Zurich is the best connected airport, Milan a second choice.

Can I bring a +1?

How do I get to Davos and the event?

The best way to arrive at the Schatzalp is to use the train from your hotel to the train station of "Davos Platz". It is a 12 minute walk from the train station to the lift station.

How do I get back to my hotel?

Public trains are available daily during the WEF week, but they end early. Please check the schedule for your destination. There are also ride share options (e.g. uber, maybe Bolt) and we are working on a shuttle to select destination points on route to Buchs (TBC), a small town in the Vaduz area.

Do I need a Security badge to enter the Schatzalp Hotel?

No. There a re no special requirements to join the CSO Awards /24, except your ticket and QR code. You also do not need to be affiliated with the WEF nor be a member / partner of the WEF to attend.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are accepted until December 15.
