What is a career break or sabbatical?

It can be many things. If you're taking time off from work for (mental) health reasons, to explore new opportunities, to travel, to volunteer – it is up to you. Sabbatical usually means taking off a longer period of time from your regular job, to learn, to travel or other reasons. Usually, you stay in employment status in your current job and are expected to return. A career break means you (normally) do not return to your previous job, and can mean starting your own business.

How do these calls go?

You ask and your hosts (and others in the call) answer.
First come first serve: whoever comes first and asks their question first, will get the first answers.
Depending on how many we are in the call, we will adjust the time taken to answer each question.
