About this event

This is a networking event at which you meet like-minded Black women and potentially build new friendships in a safe environment. All our events are held in English and you are guaranteed to have a fabulous time:-)

The ticket price includes:

A participation fee, planning of the event, finding appropriate facilities with staff that displays cultural competency skills, an event host, advertisement of the event to ensure a sufficient number of participants, administration- related activities, etc.

All our events always start on time. Restaurant owners tend to get upset when reserved seats remain empty for more than 30 mins and sometimes give those empty seats away to other customers. So, please in order to have your seat guaranteed and to avoid such situations, it is necessary to be on time or to arrive no later than 30 mins past the event time.

Of course there are always emergencies in which case we ask you to inform us prior to the start of the event by writing an email to blacksistersunitegermany@gmail.com clearly stating what time you will be arriving so we are aware of your lateness and can confidently keep your seat for you.

Typical process of events:-Organiser starts with asking attendees for their tickets, attendees are free to seat wherever they would like to, after about 30 mins, we do an introduction in which the organiser explains a little bit more about this organisation and then everyone goes on to introduce themselves. We usually order food followed by every one mingling and socialising with each other. Sometimes, we go to a second location i.e. a bar and just continue our conversations

Most events last much longer than the specified time period as people just enjoy the fact that they have found a safe space as a Black woman in Germany.

Once you attend our events, you will be added to our whats app community where members organise meetings for each chapter (city). We only organise meetings every 3-4 months in each city so the whats app community is a good place to stay in touch and to continue meeting up. PLEASE NOTE: Creating larger groups that mimic the main group and recruit members from the main whats app group is a violation of the CODE OF CONDUCT and will lead to the expulsion of those individuals.
