About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes

How we built a park! Gleisdreieck's evolution from the maze of train tracks running between three stations taking passengers to the far corners of Europe, to a post war wasteland taken over by over 400 separate species of plants and trees, to the landscaped wonder park opened in 2015. Nothing about Gleisdreieck park would be as it is if not for the history of the city. The park is the most visited in Berlin and used by three city districts hungry for it's diverse uses and connected cycle paths. This tour will leave you hungry to create utopic leisure space in your own city districts.

Our tour will be meeting at Potsdamer Platz S Bahn entrance, near the entrance to the Ritz Carlton hotel. We will meet at 14:00 and leave by 14:15.

The tour will end three hours later near Yorckstraße Station, there will be a 20 minute break. We will not be using public transportation — the tour will be entirely outside.
