The event will provide an insight into some of the innovative design and operational approaches that stadiums and leisure centres are adopting in response to improving their sustainability and environmental performance. It will also look at ways in which sports and leisure facilities can enhance their overall building performance, with input from leading stadium and leisure centre operators and academics from around the UK and Europe.
This networking event is bringing together clients, operators, consultants and designers to discuss best practice in the design and operation of sports and leisure facilities, including innovation in the operation of major venues and the design of sustainable facilities.
The event will be hosted at the award-winning Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which won the Gold Medal at the 2021 IOC IPC IAKS architecture prizes. It will include seminars and a stadium tour, which will give delegates a chance to see the innovative design and operation of a venue that plays host to Premier League football, NFL and other major concerts and events.
